PostSubject: Help those who help abused animals   Mon Jul 30, 2007 1:04 pm

An acquaintance in Decatur works with an organization which saves abused animals, nurses them back to good health, and finds good homes for them. They do some miraculous work, as can be see in the before and after shots in their video.

They have a chance to win a grant, with our help. Please read the following, view the video at the link, and donate a ten-spot if you can. Even if you can't, please forward this to your firends and post it on other message boards. and Hanes have teamed up to help 10 charities win up to $10,000 in a matching funds grant. Here's how it works. The 10 charities with the highest number of unique donors (addresses, credit card numbers, etc are checked to make sure people donate once) win a matching funds grant. Just a $10 donation helps push us towards the top of the list and gets us closer to winning the grant. PLEASE spread the word, share the link, add us to your blog and ask family, friends, and coworkers if they can spare just $10 to help homeless pets. Obviously, since it's a matching funds grant larger donations are appreciated to increase our overall total, but more than anything we need individuals willing to donate and spread the word. Thank you for your support!
